Inventory Planner

North Ridgeville, OH

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Reports to the Demand Planning Manager, and will be responsible for performing analytics, forecasting, solutions to improve forecast accuracy, as well as report out on sales, manufacturing, and inventory (surplus/insufficiency). Optimize Inventory through key performance indicators. Position is onsite at our North Ridgeville, Ohio facility. Local candidates encouraged to apply.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties as assigned):

• Review Historical trends in sales and consumption.

• Monitor and report on forecasts and strategies for improvements.

• Research demand drivers and sales inputs.

• Develop and maintain statistical forecast models, to align with top down and bottom up planning.

• Analyze forecasts for accuracy and implement solutions to improve demand forecasts.

• Conduct detailed reports on sales forecasts, budgets, business strategies, and inventory.

• Work alongside management to develop risk assessments.

• Monitor inventory levels to reduce surplus and insufficiency.

• Work alongside management to develop risk assessment solutions (Excess & Obsolete).

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Authorized to work in the U.S.

• Bachelor’s degree in management, supply chain, or another related field.

• 3-5 years of manufacturing demand planning experience.

SAP knowledge on manufacturing module 3-5 years minimum as a key user.

• Knowledge of Microsoft products – Excel, Powerpoint, etc

• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task.

• Extremely organized.

• Ability to rely on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals.
